in terms of horror games i'd say silent hill 2 and 3, dead space, the suffering and outlast. there is one game coming out that looks promising called grave, that looks at least nerve racking

Outlast is scary stuff. Dropped controller twice during 1st 20 minutes. Recommended!!

Silent Hill. Clock Tower. Doom. Project Zero (was watching a lot of J Horror at this point admittedly) and of course Resident Evil. Half Life is creepy in it's own way. Silent Hills could be in the balance, as there's been some kind of fallout though......

Evil Within is pretty scary, especially the invisible monsters, that only reveal themselves when they're attacking you!

Keep getting tempted with Evil Within Rik, but every time it looks like I might purchase it my head gets turned by another game, usually because I am very much into open world games giving me a feel of 'go where you like'. Evil Within looks good and appealing but linear, which is why I keep shirking it. Bonus is, its coming down in price all the time, so it is just a matter of time before it becomes a purchase! What do you think of it Rik? what are its best points?

It's really good, but can be hard if you don't use your health and ammo properly e.g I think I'm gonna have to redo a chapter because I stupidly saved my game with bugger all ammo and I can't get passed a certain bit, forcing many rage quitting/controller throwing incidents ha ha.
It's got aspects of the original Silent Hill and Resi Evil games, which is why I like it

I'm glad its not just me! Thought I had anger issues but it must be the consoles fault after all!

Anyone played Slender online? It was all the rage a few months back with people being terrified by it... but it was pretty rubbish!
