Default Most Tedious/Boring Moments in Gaming

So I've playing through Final Fantasy X and i have finally gotten through (for me) the most infuriating part of the game - Blitzball: it is a tedious waste of time in the game, you don't get any levelling spheres for your crew.
So what moments in games do you just pray to be done quickly?

If my memory serves me correct those early Resident Evil games where you had the same screen shot of a door as you waiting for the next bit to load, god knows how many times you had to watch a door....

Loading games on a ZX Spectrum was pretty tedious!

For those of you who are too young to remember the joys of Sir Clive Sinclaire's original home computer, this was pre-internet, and so games had to be loaded directly from an audio cassette. For this, obviously you needed a cassette recorder connected to your computer

You had to make sure that the volume and tone levels on the recorder were just right, otherwise the game wouldn't load.

The cassette was put into the player, the computer was turned on and the television was set to the proper channel, resulting in the 'home page' on the screen

On the keyboard, you then had to physically type in LOAD ""

and press the 'play' button on the recorder. The game would then start to load into the computer, resulting in a hideous squealing noise. Loading a game would take ages, but you could watch progress on the screen, with a picture developing, surrounded by firstly turquoise and red lines, which would then change to yellow and blue lines

At the sight of these lines, your excitement would mount.

While the game was loading, you had time to go to the toilet, get a cup of coffee, read a few chapters of 'Lord Of The Rings' and listen to an entire Genesis song

HOWEVER, more often than not, at the last moment, this happened

and you had to start all over again from the beginning

I must have lost years of my life, waiting for games to load only to have them fail at the last second!

getting wrecked in a final fantasy game and having to go back to the main menu and load the game again. what's more annoying is when you forget to save prior to a boss fight and have to go through all the grinding you did.
also dark souls: anor londo, the bloody silver knight archers

Waiting on the helicopter in Metal Gear Solid 5. Or any moment in modern games where you are forced to walk at a snails pace while you have to listen to exposition.

1. in a FPS being spawned far from the decent weapons and inevitably getting killed during the long walk.
2. also in a FPS using a heavy machine gun and putting loads of rounds into an enemy only to have him kill you as he drops dead.
3. probably the angriest I've got in gaming was when one of my PS2 memory cards corrupted (for no good reason I may add) losing saves for FFX, GT4 and MGS2 among others, when I finally got my PS2 to read it..... "empty"

There's lots more of course, a mate had his Xbox360 give up with the red light of death after about 2 years etc.
