Well, I did like it. The game isn't unenjoyable. I only died a few times because of the stupid merman and the spinning fan in the factory. No other enemies or bosses got me. The game just didn't feel like a RE game, though. Play the first three to four original games and then this. If somebody didn't let you know this was RE8, you may not know what series it's even connected to. Albeit considerably loosely. Although you may be able to tell because of the game's engine. But I meant in general. It is so far removed from what usually happens in games of this sort. It does make sense a bit, as it's still scientific. It was pretty cool. I hope the next game with Rosemary Winters will be a great way to end the storyline that these first person games have started. But it doesn't really particularly feel like RE any longer. |

Yes. That's exactly my point. But another thing that I find kind of annoying, is that near the end, Chris finds a note about Spencer. This is just a cheap ass way to have this entire strange game being linked to the other games. I fail to see how it even is. But meh. Capcom does this all of the time anyway. It takes ages for them to actually go anywhere with this crap. By the next game, they're usually doing something completely unrelated, which in turn never receives any real conclusion. They rinse and repeat the cycle so many times, that it's a very off putting business practice. |

I did laugh that Umbrella was just mentioned out of the blue. It was like quick just throw it in there to tie it all together
