Angry Resident Evil Village: Can we stop pretending like it's good?

Both RE4 and RE8 are primary reasons as to WHY the franchise sucks now.

For starters, I don't think the idea of a vendor appearing in random spots (with a whole shop) is realistic at all. You can tell they basically wanted these RE games to be action mostly, with monsters and stuff, so it would still pass off as being horror.

RE8 is a sheer copy of RE4. Both games start you off in a village, but then you get attacked by a single villager or lycan, and then a group. After a prolonged battle, they leave, in almost the same sort of way as well. You later go to a castle, a lake and a factory in both games too. Just not quite in the same order, as RE8 had a lake portion taken place after the castle.

But RE8 has some really stupid enemies. A living doll. A robot man. A big baby. Vampires. Lycans. Pigs. It's just... uh!

Is that really RE, in your opinion?

Now, I don't think the game is not enjoyable, per se. But if you're a long time fan from the PlayStation days, how is this game remotely like RE (example) 0, CV, 2, or most of the other games? Those games had zombies, mutants, and soldiers. This game does have Chris and other rogue BSAA personnel. But to me, it's like Capcom knew they had to add in a major character.

They even intended to include Ada Wong, who is the spy from RE4 and RE6. However, if they did put her in, that would just go to show you that this is really just like RE4, as Ada was helping Leon in that game. So they're copying. Too. Darn. Much.
