Vipco - the local shop charged £55 for a reflux and that included a 3 month warranty. Not bad, and certainly better than shelling out £120 for a Sony repair (which apparently just means they send you a reconditioned model and you lose your data).

Will have to check out that Uncharted promo, really loved the first two games.

Deadly Premontion is a weird one alright. Started it a few weeks back. The graphics aren't great, the controls are clunky but it's the premise & story line that drives you to keep playing & the cheap tag price also helps. It's completely bizarre in places but Twin Peaks fans (which I am one of) will lap it up.

Cool name by the way, I take it your a Warriors fan?

I think i'll get my fat 60GB fixed and trade it in .
The Slim ones are much more quieter aren't they. I couldn't believe the difference , plus they dont heat up like the fat ones did. My 60GB used to get very hot.

I finally got NFS: HP through the post and I'm loving it. I'm really enjoying the Hot Pursuit Online mode, although it can be a bit hard playing as a cop on the shorter races. I didn't realise it was made by the same guys who did Burnout Paradise - which I thought was great fun. Getting used to the steering and such takes a bit of time as I feel the PS3 controller isn't always the best when it comes to racing games and because I haven't played a racing game since Burnour Paradise, so I'm a little rusty.

I'll look out for you Online mate .
Thats right, Criterian were the guys behind Burnout PC . Their head guy is a big fan of the 3DO original and jumped at the offer to do Hot Pursuit and take the franchise back to its roots.
Slightly Mad Studio's will be doing NFS SHIFT 2 - Unleashed for EA (Spring 2011) as it's more sim based track racer .
