Playing the last of us 2 and can see why people are getting upset, it's a technical .masterpiece but has some awful writing the biggest being a character called Abby who is just a nasty and unlikable person , we are supposed to.feel sorry for her with what happened to her but she is so poorly writing and such a unlikable bitch you just don't care worst of all it seems you have to play them for around 50% of the game.

At the moment I probably rate it 6.5 if I was not forced to play her and she was writing a bit better i would say 9.

Think I'll return to Amazon and wait for a price drop, have a bit backlog and ghosts is out next month and was always more interested in it.

Bit of a cheat post since I'm not playing it yet but I've just started re-downloading Star Wars Battlefront II. I've been reading about the recent instant action updates which finally allowed offline play in decent sized maps. Hopefully it'll be as enjoyable as the also added offline skirmish mode in the last Battlefront game. I previously mentioned that I recently bought an external hard drive for my PS4 so now I can actually easily make room for Battlefront 2's quite sizey 115 GB.

ghost of tsushima only played a few hours but has captured me more than the last of us 2, looks absolutely gorgeous and even though it has flashbacks they don't detract from the game. Easy to see this is heavily influenced by Kurosawa and others.
nosferatu42 and bleakshaun like this.

Dead Space 2,

Finish the 1st one a couple of days ago, jump straight to the second, it's much better and less annoying.

Default Doom it

Finally got around to getting Doom Eternal, and while they hAve added the addition of having to jump around from ledge points and the ability to scale up certain walls in the game,it still retains everything I enjoy in a Doom game...which is basically Burning, looting, raping, shooting to quote Bad News...... although if there is any raping it's only demons, zombies and big floating balls of crude that s getting raped....

Great game but I hated the platform bits , stopped the flow of the game for me.
