I agree I do prefer Silent Hill to Resident Evil still remember the frustration of the piano part in the first game

Same I would rather they remade the first from the ground up but if part 2 does well which was my favourite they might.

I guess it's because SH2 has Pyramid Head and he is something of an iconic villain. But yes. It would have made sense to remake the original first.

However, SH2 is technically unrelated to SH1. The first game was about this guy called Harry Mason. Only the third game was a true sequel.
