I can't wait for PS4, but upon seeing the wii u which in my opinion isn't a next gen console but more of an in between I hope it doesn't come out this year. I think the ps3 is still better and doesn't need to be replaced as of yet.

Sony have always said it would support PS3 for 10 years from release and as they only stopped making PS2 lat month ,I imagine they will support PS3 for the full 10 years at least.
There are a few titles yet to be announced that are currently in development for PS3 that are major AAA titles and all from 3rd party developers that will show that the industry are in no hurry to abandon PS3 any time soon either.
I recon PS3 will be around for a few years yet as a viable gaming platform as developers know the system, to pull the plug on PS3 just cause PS4 is announced would be financial suicide .
As a console it along with X360 is very out of date though and a alternative option from Sony and MS for both would be most welcome.

Nintendo seem to be abandoning region coding on games from the new Switch console onwards, nice but... too little and about 25 years too late, I've never understood the logic on games or films that you say to a consumer who has the money and wants to buy your product "sorry, it it won't work on your hardware so keep your money and F@%k off, and I'm sure there are no pirates out there who will take advantage and provide a copy..." back in the days of Pal/NTSC conversion those companies had a tiny excuse but not now it's 2017!!!

Clod Studio Releases Playable Demo of Dario Argento's Dreadful Bond

Italian game developer Clod Studio has shared an early playable demo of Dario Argento’s Dreadful Bond, a first-person psychological-horror game created under the creative direction of famed Italian horror director Dario Argento. The demo comes as part of a push to meet the fundraising goal for the game’s Kickstarter campaign, which has raised nearly $29,000 of its $67,267 goal with less than a day to go, as of this writing.

Despite being a very early build of the game, the demo showcases Dreadful Bond’s impressive grayscale visuals and detailed in-game objects. It also shows off the game’s rich atmospherics that recall the giallo style of Italian horror films from the 1960s and ‘70s. The game features suspenseful first-person exploration using sight and sound alone, with no artificial hints or aids.

Dario Argento’s Dreadful Bond will be developed by Clod Studio using Unreal Engine 4. Its creative supervisor Dario Argento is often called the Master of Horror, having directed such classic horror films as Suspiria, Deep Red, Inferno and Opera. His 1977 film Suspiria was recently remade by Call Me By Your Name director Luca Guadagnino.

If the game’s crowdfunding campaign succeeds in reaching its goal, it’s expected to launch in December 2020. Check out the Kickstarter campaign and download the demo build here. Below, take a look at the accompanying short film directed by Argento himself, For Bridget.

Ruggero Deodato and Fantastico Studio Announce Upcoming ‘Cannibal Holocaust’ Video Game | Bloody Disgusting

"In celebration of 40 years of Ruggero Deodato‘s found footage classic Cannibal Holocaust, we’ve learned today that a video game is on the way from Deodato and Fantastico Studio!

Billed as “the fourth, highly awaited chapter of Deodato’s cannibals cycle,” Cannibal will be available from November 2020 for Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, PC and mobile.

“Cannibal is an interactive horror graphic adventure made with Unity, with the direction and script of Ruggero Deodato, and the original drawings of Solo Macello, in which the player will take control of different characters, to reveal, little by little, the background that led them to a desperate expedition to the virgin jungles of Borneo. And of course, get to discover the end of the story, destined to shake from the foundations every certainty acquired during the game.”

Ruggero Deodato’s “Cannibal Trilogy” kicked off with Jungle Holocaust in 1977, which was followed by the infamous Cannibal Holocaust in 1980 and then Cut and Run in 1985."
