I've just sat and watched for around 20 advertisement for ps5 and the graphics on the games to comes. All I can say is wow totally outstanding will certainly blow you away.
That's the problem I have with Nintendo they produce some really good games but their graphics compared to PlayStation or Xbox are really piss poor and keep relaying on cartoonish graphics/ 2d or old school style that type, they really need to up their game on the graphics .

I'm awaiting concrete official confimation that the PS5 will allow you to download your digital PS4 games. I should imagine so but it'd be nice if Sony would unequivocally state it. I've bought more than a few that way and if it wasn't the case, you'd think that sales of the forthcoming digital only version of the PS5 would really suffer (backwards compatibility is a big selling point imo). It would be nice to be able to completely remove our PS4 (there's not many plug sockets in our flat!).

Nintendo doesn't try to compete with the PS and Xbox which are 'hardcore gamer' consoles, they have a niche and it's perfectly cornered, they produce and release family friendly games on a family friendly console. The Nintendo 'style' of graphics might not appeal to everyone, but it does resonate with a lot of players and they will defend it to the death!

While it's not ultra realistic, you can't really deny the fact that games like Luigi's Mansion 3 and Yoshi's Crafted World look fantastic. I for one would take stylised graphics and great gameplay over an ultra realistic shooter.

Nintendo is more about the heart of gaming which is to have fun. I got rid of my Switch because I'm not a fan of JRPGs and turn based combat so i didn't feel there was enough games for me to justify having all 3 consoles. I have said it here many times but this generation has been a big disappointment for me ultra realistic looking games are great but a lot of them have no substance and most games just felt soulless and empty to me. Nintendo knows what it is and they know they don't have to change to keep up. When it comes to games graphics have to take the backseat for me its all about the game play and the stories.

Default Update

This probably will be of no interest to the majority of you,but I learnt the other day that instead of doing the Xbox one updates directly to the machine, you can download the update from Microsoft Xbox website to a USB stick then manually update at your leisure... I knew you could do this with PS 4,but only just found out about the Xbox...Why do you ask is this important, well my broadband is shit (and don't say change your supplier, its not my call)...but work has an excellent connection, so 5 gig update no problems, now I can play Vallahla... Sorted....alright I know its not very intereresting but it made me happy so bugger off......:

That's a good option, a lot of people have either really slow internet or download limits, luckily I have neither. A few years ago a lad in our work would bring his PS4 in with him to do his updates on the work WiFi haha, the IT Admin blocked his mac address in the end lol...

To do that latest 5gig update would take about 3 hrs,so this way was so much easier, and simple, if an idiot like me can do it then anyone can....what I do not understand is why no one ever says this is an option?????
