Its not about horror movies but its about a horrific crime that happened in 1993 in the US.
Excellent doc that is informative and well made. At the end you will be asking yourself if what transpired is right or wrong!
I really like paradise lost and it's sequel revelations both were based on the same case. Although they're quite old now, still fascinating and apparently there is a third from the same team which I'm yet to see.

Documentary that looks at the severe social decay in the South Bronx during the 1970s.
The South Bronx of today is a much different place than it was 30 years ago, a world that has long since vanished. 80 Blocks... is a compelling and one-of-a-kind look into this time seen through the eyes of those trapped in a domestic warzone.

So glad to see this get a mention. Wonderful depiction of crime ridden urban life in the 70's.

I'll try and contribute to this thread when I have more time.

For the people who like docs about people rather than a historical or political story, check out one called Dungeon Masters, it's about Dungeons & Dragons essentially, but it's the touching story of 4 people who run games.

I tend to sit down with Netflix or Sky Arts and watch any doc that sounds interesting. I saw one recently called Typeface which was about a guy who was trying to keep the printing press tradition alive in America.

Both of those sound cool: I like nerd docs and I like fonts (but which is better...?) . . .

If you like fonts have you seen Helvetica? A 90 min film about 1 font that changed the world lol...

They're both equally good, just depends what mood you're in

No I missed it when it was on BBCFour (I think it was) - it's quite low on my priority list tbh . . .
