I ordered these from Zavvi 2 for €15. The only one I have ever seen is The Stuff many moons ago I only remember as a kid I was terrified of the black guy on the back of the vhs with the wide open mouth. Any opinions on the rest.

Tin Drum is a classy anti-war flick, Remo is nice cult viewing, Beast is just okay IMHO, but the pick of the bunch is Les Diaboliques, a superb French classic with genre defining moments(it is French tho, so they talk a bit:lol::lol:)

From HMV. Just watching some Monsters to an Ambient vibe:headphones: but probably not at the same time.

They'll go well together imo.

Bored shitlessness/cabin fever hath driven me to ordereth two Shaw Bros films that I finally found cheapish!!! :woot:

Black Magic (1975)
Corpse Mania (1981)

Both are insane btw. Bruno...back me up here ;);)

Thanks!

No, I've just messed around with the colours on the pic. Been doing that for a while for my video thumbnails, dunno why exactly, but feels like a fun effect that messes with the mind! :tongue1:

I think Amazon has completely lost their mind!

I just noticed they have made some items exclusive to Amazon Prime members.

See this for example:

Don't I know it - Pamper nappies are exclusive to Amazon Prime and they had a good deal on at the time

On a lighter note - I bought the 88 Films blu of Late Night Trains from HMV £7.99

Good stuff B_E.

I was looking at that VCI release of The Name of the Game is Kill myself. It's not a film i've seen before but it sounds good.

They seem to be releasing a few Euro goodies at the moment.

Yeah, it was a complete blind buy for me. I stumbled across it whilst perusing VCI's site, and immediately jumped over to Amazon marketplace where I got it for about £8 + change. I'm looking forward to watching it - I hope it is as good as it sounds.

bdc 14th May 2015 09:01 PM

The Name of the Game is Kill is pretty good imho so you should enjoy that one.
I watched it years ago on vhs. ;)

Just ordered this from Zavvi.

I watched it a couple of days ago (I bought it from the Network sale along with Countess Dracula and a couple of others) and was impressed by the AV quality.

I bought these from HMV on Wednesday for £25:

http://i1085.photobucket.com/albums/...pspcwljhzj.jpg

I'm curious to see how well Interstellar stands up when watched at home and Duke of Burgundy was a blind buy, but I've loved Pete Strickland's other two films, so thought it was worth a punt.

demonknight 15th May 2015 02:37 PM

Django Unchained in HD.

I enjoyed Interstellar as much if not more at home.
