I'm going to order The 10th Victim when I pre-order Island of Lost Souls, The Phantom Carriage and Kiss Me Deadly next week. It'll be a blind buy as I haven't seen it, but figure the best way to watch it for the first time is in high definition.

I used to have the BU DVD, but got rid of it once I heard that they were going to release a Blu-Ray. Whilst I do want a copy, it's not highest priority where my BD buying is concerned, at the moment.

Will post some now. :)

I personally love The 10th Victim...that's why I had to have the bd right away.
Best to watch it in Italian imho although I do like the English track as well. ;)
There's a bonus docu on Mastroianni on there as well if that interests you.
Shame there's no Andress docu...

Must say I was very impressed with the PQ and audio of Arrows' CAT O' NINE TAILS. The picture started off a little poorly and yes, that strange grain is visible in places though much (MUCH) more inconspicuous than it was on TENEBRAE. However by about half way mark the clarity and level of detail is consistently excellent and some of the outdoor day scenes really make you feel like your looking through a window onto the events in real life. Very impressed Arrow :). Although to have a slight nag, the consistency could have been better i.e. lower noise in the 1st half of the movie. However I'm more than happy with the PQ on this one.

As for the movie, its really an out-and-out Hitchcockian mystery/adventure with giallo trappings. One of Argento's least gory offerings. It has a great storyline however and the main lead being a blind man is a stroke of genious. Its directed with all the style you's expect from Argento and plot-wise is one of his most coherent. Certainly one of my favourite films of his.

Also watched DELLAMORTE DELLAMORE for the first time. I was surprised at how comedic this was, its really a comedy horror in the vein of BRAINDEAD and I SELL THE DEAD (it was probably inspired by the former and inspired the later). Watching CAT O' NINE TAILS and DELLAMORTE back to back, I can safely say that Soavi is Argento's equal in terms of directorial flair. The camera does some real acrobatics in both films and both are a joy to watch. Great transfer, especially in the outdoor scenes, on DELLAMORTE too.
