I don't really remember it, but my first film was a little known film by George Lucas called Return of the Jedi

The first film that I can recall watching at the old fleapit was Flash Gordon, and that would have been in 1980.

What made you get Cry of the Banshee Pedro?

I love Vincent Price and was intrigued by it, had been meaning to get it at some point.

i freaking love this film, i was humming the theme the little instrument plays in work today and realised i hadn't seen it in years. It's got Strickland out of back to the future in it too as well as Courtney Cox, i just remember it being great fun....

It's been mentioned before, it's an addiction we all suffer from :)

I recently picked up Face/Off on Blu-ray, naively thinking it would be uncut. I just assumed the same HD master would be used worldwide. Not so. The UK BD is still cut by 7secs, to remove sight of a twirling butterfly knife. This is just plain lazy on the part of the distributor, as this would probably sail through the BBFC uncut now. But no, they didn't even bother resubmitting the film for BD (thus no doubt saving money) and just put out the same old version. The ghost of Ferman lives on and we're still suffring for his stupid ****ing decisions during his tenure at the BBFC.
