Me at the moment, as I've already got the UK release, and double dipping on BD's seems wrong at the moment! What's different about it?

I picked up 2 copies of RAMBO 3 on BluRay at a local Dollar store for $2 each

Cheers Nos. So much better than the US cover too!

It definitely looks HD. Its just a shame BFI couldn't have cleaned them up a little bit more, Eureka have released films of the same era with practically zero imperfections, but I guess it mostly comes down to the quality of the film stock available as opposed to the publisher/distributor. Its clear how much BFI revere Ozu and I'm sure they did the best they could.

Thanks for the information. It's a shame that they are a little disappointing. I think I will wait and see what Criterion does with 'em. On a side note, my wife has only sat through maybe one Ozu film, yet every time I put one of the many I own on she thinks that she's seen it. Mainly because of his use of the same actors.

Hehe yeah I guess they can appear similar to the untrained eye :p

Was in town earlier and took advantage of HMVs 2 for £15 to get these:

Picked up "Martyrs" and "Amer" in HMV today. A tenner for the two.

Both fantastic films. What a bargain. Amer was definitely one of my highlights of last year. A thing of great beauty.
