Oooohh... Hex!

Nice pick-up's b - I'm guessing that Hex is R3 like most of IVL's releases?

The Scream 4 BD or, to give it the title on the cover, Scre4m, arrived today and I've ordered the following BDs: Jacob's Ladder, Trainspotting, Shallow Grave and This is England.

For now though my shelves shall groan further :)

If he only watches modern Hollywood product, then I can totally see his point - they're not even trying anymore, so why bother wasting money?. However cinema in Europe and Asia is alive and kicking; their output is currently second to none. Not to mention revisiting old classics on DVD and blu - this is a golden age for Home Cinema. I hope he has not disregarded these alternatives as well.

Just received in the post Fellini's Clowns on Blu and More Brains the ROTLD doc, which was a rattler, so that will be the next one to watch... man, I just hate loose discs...

Yes, Jacob's Ladder. I haven't seen that since VHS. When you get it let me know how it looks on Blu. I remember loving that film. I still remember seeing it in the theatre when it came out. Thanks for bringing it to my attention again.

It's already been shipped, so I'll hopefully have it before the week's out. It's been a while since I watched the DVD, but intend to do that to compare them properly.
