I think that's enough Criterion Collection discs for one year! Those will be brought back and brought up to me with about another 30 discs in a month, so my pile of unwatched discs will grow even more -- there are over 100 BDs on there as at it!

"Permissive" is a great down beat, grubby film reeking of nicotine stained fingers and pints of mild.

I received the BDs of Trainspotting, Shallow Grave, This Is England and Jacob's Ladder in the mail this morning.

Again, Barnes & Noble had a sale on their Criterion titles, so I ordered:

On Blu-ray:
Dazed and Confused
Salo, or the 120 Days of Sodom
Harakiri
Seven Samurai
Kagemusha
The Wages of Fear
Stagecoach
Black Moon
Cul-de-Sac
Sweet Smell of Success
The Battle of Algiers
Bottle Rocket
Gomorrah

On DVD:
Exterminating Angel
Z
Vampyr
Notorious
The 39 Steps
Pickpocket
Onibaba
Ikiru
The Vanishing
Sullivan's Travels

Also, from Planet Axel, I pre-ordered the Criterion Collection BDs of:
The Lady Vanishes
Godzilla

And ordered South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut on BD, along with the DVDs of Strip Nude for Your Killer and Night Train Murders.

That's me just about spent up for November and December, so only cheap and borderline essential purchases from now until 2012!

Nos, the commentary on South Park is brilliant, it's pretty much Parker and Stone saying how crap the animation is. One of the funniest Commentaries i've had the pleasure of listening to

Really enjoyed this one, too.

Just got back from work to find my copy of Evil Dead 2. Now all I need to do is sit back and imagine how good it must look. :(

I have to say that the cases Code Red use must be the cheapest I have ever come across. They are the sort of cases you get in In-Shops for 5p!

Well done MovieTyme - delivered in less than 1 week which is pretty good in my book for an import.

Yeah, ordered it directly from Synapse. Really wasn't expecting it for a while. Never got a email saying it was shipped, it just poped up. Was gonna save it for an Xmas present, oh well.
It sucks that they won't ship to the UK. In another thread I offered to have someone put my address down for shipping, then I would ship it to them. But since I don't have PayPal I would have to pay for the shipping myself, and as I am tight on money right now I could only do that for one person. I wish I had the money to do that for everyone. If anyone is interested PM me. I like to help out when I can.

CR just started using those cases and they are "eco-cases" by some well known US company (Technimark) it seems.
I don't like them either btw because it's really hard to get the disc out.
On the plus side you won't get be getting a floater and they're easy to replace. ;)
