The only one I have is The Terminator, which is an improvement over the DVD, but slightly too much DNR prevents it from being the greatest version available and the definitive edition.

Herostratus
A young man offers an advertising agency the chance to film / exploit his suicide in another little seen flick from BFI. Very strange, with some startling imagery - and very enjoyable too.

Some arrivals over the last week.

My third copy of Return of the Living Dead 3. - I got rid of my vhs obviously, then got rid of my dvd hoping for a special widescreen uncut edition a few years ago but it never happened. Now the uncut UK version is out of print so i thought it best to get another.

I could have sworn i owned She, until i decided to watch it a couple of weeks ago and couldn't find it.

Some good stuff there. Always been a fan of Singles and really dug The American when I saw it a couple of months ago.

Thanks Paul.

Not seen Singles since vhs.

Looking forward to The American. One of those that was trailed as an action film, but i understand that its a slow burning thriller instead.

Clooney is back in my viewing radar after watching Up in the Air last month - a really good film imo.

I'd ignored the Bathory film until i saw a trailer showing the lovely Anna Friel naked as can be in the bath of blood. Looks a superbly produced piece as well, and clocks in at 135 minutes.

Me Too! IMO the Singles soundtrack cd is one of the best out there. God knows how many times I've listened to it over the years and I've never got bored of it. The Judgement Night soundtrack is another that I think is criminally overlooked.

I've got both of those CDs too, love Singles, brilliant.!i always thought the Ben Stiller film Reality Bites was a pale imitation.

Judgment Night soundtrack is good though there are a few tracks I skip as they're a bit too heavy for me. My favourite tracks are Helmet/House of Pain and De la Soul/Teenage Fanclub. Very enjoyable, under-appreciated film too.

I'd love to know what the booklet and Europe in the Raw are like and whether I can justify spending £21 for those two and the snazzy box. (I already own every DVD which is in the box set).

This arrived today - lovely-looking set which I can't wait to start watching. I've put a few pictures up in the Show Us Yours thread for people to compare how this looks to the older set, which can be found here
