I've never heard of True Romance before, but the other four films are excellent, with my personal favourites being The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Psycho!

Where do you post your reviews?

I've posted some here:

But mostly I just post them here:

Most of them are fairly recent posts since I only recently decided to start getting all my old HK favs (and some new ones) on dvd. ;)

You've really been missing out as it has one of Tarantino's finest scripts, Tony Scott's best direction and great performances by Christian Slater, Patricia Arquette, Dennis Hopper, Gary Oldman, Christopher Walken and, in a small role, Val Kilmer.

It's easily worth a blind buy, whether on DVD or BD.

My favourite Tarantino script of them all.

Certainly Scott's best film & the scene with Christopher Walken & Dennis Hopper is a classic.

I watched Unstoppable (a film which would have more accurately be entitled Stoppable!) and am still waiting for Tony Scott to make a film as good as True Romance.

As you say, the scene with Christopher Walken and Dennis Hopper is a classic and, in my opinion, is the best in the film as the writing is flawless, it's directed by Tony Scott when he knew how to keep the camera still and the performances by the two men are just outstanding.

Not quite as good as True Romance, but I really liked Scott's Man on Fire.
