More was an eBay win (only £8 too).

From Amazon:

Buffy The Vampire Slayer - not sure why, but I've had an overwhelming urge to watch this again. A big fave from my early teens.
Keeping it vampiric, I finally got round to getting Revenant on DVD - stupidly funny stuff.
After watching Kurosawa's Sanshiro Sugata, which has been one of my highlights of the year, I got round to picking up the BFI's Early Kurosawa boxset.
Mark Cousin's Story of Film series continues to remind me how little I've seen. One of only three Haneke films I haven't seen, I had to get Code Unknown.
My fascination (and completist urges) with Bowie the actor means that I'm gonna watch him star with drum n bass producer Goldie in B.U.S.T.E.D. aka. Everybody Loves Sunshine.
And rounding off my online purchases is Georges Franju's La Tete Contre Les Murs.

From HMV:

Abbott & Costello boxset.
Scorsese's Cape Fear, which I love and thought it was about time I replaced my VHS copy.
Body Double is my attempt to brush up on De Palma's filmography ditto Sisters.
And Brain Damage is replacing my VHS copy. Chuffed to see a Henenlotter commentary track on it too.

From Fopp:

Have seen Hotel on the shelves for a while and love the cover art, so took the plunge today along with the director's debut Lovely Rita.
Peeping Tom Special Edition was only £3 with any purchase!
After enjoying Pink Narcissus and some of Kenneth Anger's films I was intrigued to see more iconic/ground breaking gay cinema so who better than Jean Genet: Un Chant d'amour.
REally, really, really chuffed to get the original Tartan release of The Phantom Carriage with KTL's magnificently atmospheric rescore.
And another classic found it's way into my bags, Cocteau's La Belle et la bete.

Now I really have to stop spending before Xmas

Smoking aces. (almost as much fun as monkeys on drugs)
Pans labarynth.

I had a look in my local Blockbuster today and they only had two BD's in their whole used section in the four for £10 offer, "It's Complicated" and "2 Fast, 2 Furious". Was gutted, the selection in general is pretty poor. £12 for a used copy of Source Code? No thanks. And people say HMV are expensive!

If its anything like my spot the good stuff has been picked bare already. We just got a huge box-load transferred from another store. For the newer blu-rays in blocky check out the deal of the week and pre-order offers, some of the stuff we do there is as cheap as amazon £14.99/15.99 for a triple play new release.

As for source code, well I think someone in your store hasnt been changing the price stickers, its SUPPOSED to be 4.99 when you rent any movie or 7 pounds otherwise! tut-tut! If I were there I'd sort the place out

Wow, another mega haul! Haven't seen Scorsese's Cape Fear in yonks - when I think of that film, I think in COLOURS! Such a colourful film, like Punch Drunk Love or something. A Blu Ray would be most welcome (got the theme tune stuck in my head now) . . .

True. Now all I have to do is find someone who wants my Region A disc.
