Just bought this eventually! Only cost me £18 of my own money since it was £48 on HMV's website and I used 2 of those Living Social vouchers which amounted to £40 of HMV credit (and I only paid for one of them, the other one being free due to getting the 3 referrals). Good deal!

i Work for blockbusters, good perks.

I've received 2 much maligned blu rays today (thanks to mother in laws Xmas cash!) - Arrow's Tenebrae and Nouveux's Suspria. Will watch with totally open mind and post my thoughts. Personally I find a lot of the hardcore internet criticism nonsense - it's like playing an impossible game of 'spot the difference' between 2 identical screenshots. That said I did think the BU Deep Red was far superior, but that's the only time I was disappointed in an Arrow.

I have not seen the Arrow Tenebrae but I don't understand the criticsim of Nouveaux's Suspiria. Granted the flesh tones are a tiny bit too red, but unless you are watching on a TV with no Colour control adjustment I don't see the issue. Everything else about the transfer is top notch. I am delighted by that BD.

This arrived today - I saw it when it came out without having seen Firefly but can't remember a thing about it. I've finished watching Firefly so can't wait to watch this later - I already miss the characters and that world

Only £6 instore at HMV which is cheaper than anywhere online - the one in the Metrocentre has some pretty decent prices at the minute.

I also have a £10 Play.com voucher from my Secret Santa at work and £20 HMV credit from that Living Social deal. Let the spending continue!

Went on a spending spree in that there Lundun today, mainly clothes but also some dvd goodness - ended up with 12 films for £22: the Herzog boxset (the non-Kinski one) for a tenner in Fopp, plus a 'Classic Sci-Fi' 7 disc boxset for £12 in Blackwells bookshop (it was £15 in hmv) . . .
