That is one out-there foursome - I couldn't watch Penance again unless forced to at gunpoint - that Xmas scene still haunts me. Black Devil Doll is pretty hilarious - be great with a Joe Bob Briggs type commentary. I liked Satans Blood a lot, can't comment on the Isla one - I'm guessing lots of hirsute 70s nudity and some ropey gore effects. Enjoy!

I know these will probably be announced for blu-ray in the coming months, but I caved in and ordered this. If I had a smaller head, I'd never have that mask off!

Gambler is a documentary about Nicolas Winding Refn as he declares bankruptcy after the failure of Fear X and decides to produce and make the sequels to Pusher.

I cam across this quite by accident and by all accounts it sounds great and going off interviews and commentaries that I've read and heard of him, he's an interesting chap.

Performance - a British classic and a woeful gap in my collection. At last that gap's filled.

What do you do when she appears and you are on it, close the page instantly and pretend you were looking at porn?

I sit with my back to the wall in the living room, so she never sees what I'm looking at anyway. And she has pretty much zero interest in films, well genre films.
I generally pick a few out of my collection and get her to choose one she wants to watch, more often than not going off the cover, hence her annoyance at Hotel which scared her more than a bit.
