WOW! The American VCI Blu of Dark Night Of The Scarecrow is just...mind-blowing! I could not have imagined that a TV flick from 1981 could ever look so perfect. Very, very, very highly recommended! |
budgeting is going well. After a fairly expensive trip to manchester to see four flies i've limited myself to ONE online purchase. So i've decided to add another jean rollin blu-ray to my set and bought facination. I iam to have all the redemption blus eventually given how bloody nice they look. Tragically my eyes have decided now is the time to fail, and my vision is screwed. :mmph: I always new i'd need glasses eventually, but until my appointment with the optician on thursday everything is a blurry mess accompanied with spitting headaches. A real bummer cause two lane blacktop is just sitting there and rolling thunder is on its way... ah well. |
Superb job wasn't it? Easily gets my vote as best TV movie ever made. |
I've loved the film for years - always been into TV horror stuff. But I grew up with copies of copies of broadcasts or NTSC to PAL conversions on VHS, so to see it like this...just...WOW! |
Did some more random purchasing yesterday: Arachnophobia Alligator (dir. Lewis Teague) Hellraiser III: Hellbound The Edge Alien Nation The Ghost and the Darkness The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai |
Yeah, old fuzzy vhs's for years...you wouldn't think it was the same movie. |
I've just ordered: Melancholia (just noticed how good the special features look!) Carnival of Souls (the Network disc with Newman/Jones yak-track) Light Sleeper |
