This just arrived through the front door. Totally forgot I'd pre-ordered this. Eureka are pretty damn good when it comes to sending out pre-orders.

Very nice, Paul.

I pre-ordered from Amazon, so I doubt my copy will arrive until next week!

My copy of the Repo Man Steelbook also arrived. Eureka certainly know how to put together a package. The comic in the booklet looks quite amazing, and they've even managed to put a budget summary / proposal. Everything about Eureka's MoC releases just feels so classy.

I'm guessing they haven't gotten their stock of The Insect Woman in yet, as that hasn't arrived, and they're due the same day.

It was a whole pound cheaper to order direct from Eureka :) Plus, they take the money from you immediately which is ideal for me. I always prefer to pay for something upon ordering rather than have it taken from me when the item ships.

Quick Question - Anyone know whats happening with PlanetAxels rewards system? I've just splurged on King Kong and Horror Express and finally have enough points to get Burial Ground but I'm getting some message about upgrading, not available blah blah. Just wondered if anyone had e-mailed them about this.

Apparently they're upgrading their Rewards system.

If you click on the Axel Rewards link on the left hand menu pane you get this message:

"We are currently upgrading the Axel Rewards program...
Redeeming products with Axel Rewards Points is currently not available.
You will still earn Axel Rewards Points on all your orders!"

I haven't heard anything about my order but, as I still have a check disc (plus one of The Insect Woman) to watch and review, I'm in no rush.

I received this reply from Liam exactly two weeks ago: "We should have it up and running better than ever sometime early to mid next week. We apologize for the inconvenience."

Unreliable bunch, the whole lot! :tsk:  :mmph:

Greetings!

Went to look for new couch in charity shop.

Did not find suitable couch, but did emerge with DVDs:

Kansas City Confidential
The Resident
The Addiction
Ren & Stimpy Seasons Three and a Half-ish

Finally bought myself zombie anime series high school of the dead. Enjoyable, but way too much fan service for a full priced purchase.

Cheers for that - Burial Ground and the weirdest looking man in the history of the movies will soon be mine!
