You're right it's a fantastic film and Richard Attenborough is superb in it, as is the equally brilliant John Hurt as Evans.It's a pretty grim film that stays with you for some time after the silent end credits have rolled.

If you haven't seen it before The Devil's Brigade is excellent Pedro.

A simillar type of film to The Dirty Dozen crossed with Where Eagles Dare and tends to pass under the radar of most folks.
