Mine arrived yesterday. And I think I have another on the way, so that'll be getting traded or ebay'd. You seen the prices for it on ebay? They're upwards of £30 quid.

Just looked again and it's a more reasonable £20.

Just got my Hitchcock blu's from the US (Rebecca, Notorious and Spellbound, and they're in horrible eco cases, one of which is broken already. They're so flimsy, I can take the disc out and bend the case!

The postwoman brought a load of discs including the first five Jean Rollin BDs (The Nude Vampire, The Shiver of the Vampires, The Iron Rose, Lips of Blood & Fascination), Monty Python and the Holy Grail and Tokyo Drifter. Happy day!

I was riding the bus with an Italian girl yesterday (She's from a HP call center down the road) and I realized my Italian still needed plenty of work,we both had a good laugh though.
Most of the English subs on HK dvd's are good or ok (with a little imagination),only some are really bad.

I'm not sure where the Cantonese is more difficult to learn Mandarin, but I was at uni with a guy who was learning Mandarin who said they use the same word for 'cow' as for 'mother', with the only difference being the pronunciation!

I'd love to speak Italian, French and German fluently so I could watch films from those countries without subtitles, but I can't see that happening in the near future.

Nice. Road Games has a Hitchcockian feel. It's like Rear Winow, but on the road. And Keach is great (as usual) in it.
