Had a good score in the local HMV yesterday. I managed to pick up The Young Ones series 2, Death Race 2000 and Turkey Shoot (Optimum version. I've never seen this release before. It's a part of their Oz-ploitation series. Is it finally uncut? It looks so to me) for the bargain sum of £5 each.

I finally found "Death smiled at Murder" (Italian Shock) for a normal price from a guy selling 2nd hand DVDs online in Belgium.

And also got the Death Wish 5 dutch DVD from him, which is a 4:3 edition (the 1-4 Dutch death wish DVD's I have are all widescreen).

"Death smiled..." has the same aspect ratio, unfortunately. There's a new one just out on Cinekult (Italy), which should be widescreen, but only has italian audio and subtitles.

Have you managed to watch any more of those Legendary Collection DVDs recently?

Picked up another couple of 23rd Century DVDs for 99p each from a local market...

Kingdom of the Spiders - with William Shatner and Woody Strode
Whitefire - with Robert Ginty and Fred Williamson
