I'd love to know if the Revenge of the Living Dead Girls is fully uncut.

I have the US dvd which is uncut and it's pretty graphic. Pete's screen grabs here show how graphic.

It appears to be uncut if the BBFC listing is anything to go by. From the length of the submission for Blu-ray it appears that the version of the film on the UK disc is the erotic rather than the horror cut.

A couple of Cex exchanges.

The stickers were absolute nightmares to begin with, left so much sticky residue and paper on the plastic case. However a spray of WD40, leave for a few seconds, then rub off and they are like new.

I watched Casino for the first time earlier this year since I rented the VHS from Blockbuster in the late 90s! I loved it, fantastic movie!

I agree although i do tend to neglect it probably due to it's run time. I bet i've only seen it three times - Once at the cinema, once on vhs and once on dvd.

Justin101 6th July 2022 11:02 AM

Sharon Stone helps you forget about the running time!

Trying to grab all of the Larraz blus. I think only Rest in Pieces is remaining from VS. I’ll order that next payday!

Justin101 6th July 2022 05:40 PM

Turns out there are a couple of OOP ones from Dorado I’ll have to pretend they don’t exist lol…

I don’t know I’ve never seen them but they’re out of print so eBay sellers only!

I notice there's a chapter on Deadly Strangers. One of the great lost or unreleased British films. Have you seen it?

There's a decent vhs rip worth watching that's knocking about. I borrowed a bootleg dvd from a mate and loved it.

I haven’t no, I might be inclined to hunt it down after reading about it though!

I'm sure it would sell loads of copies of someone like Powerhouse or Network could get the rights to it.

It's a few years since i saw it and have forgotten what the issue is with it exactly.

That reminds me, I bought Toy Soldiers literally on release day and it's still on my "to watch" pile  I mean I have seen it before which probably explains my lack of urgency while last night I re-watched Juno for like the 20th time

How much was Operation Mincemeat in Asda? I'd really like to see it and want to know what is a 'good' price for the Blu-ray release.

£15.

It's the same in Morrisons.

Dave Boy 10th July 2022 03:48 PM

I take it THE LIVING DEAD GIRL is uncut Dem?
I've lost track of all these Black House releases and what's cut and uncut. Was there a thread?

I have absolutely no idea. What was there to cut? It's licensed from Salvation so maybe it's just a straight port of the US release.

Cex will give me an £8 voucher for it (I paid a fiver) so it's no great loss if it's cut and i'm not happy with it.

According to Melon Farmers it's uncut.

The UK Blu-ray of Schoolgirl Hitchhikers is fully uncut, even though it was supposed to be cut. Just don't tell anyone!

The only one of those i've seen is The Green Man. An excellent precursor to The Wicker Man....not really.

It's the one where Sim plays an assassin and he's a genius at it.

Demoncrat 11th July 2022 07:11 PM

I saw Geordie years ago on tv and was happy when he appeared. Yes, TGM is the reason I bought it, though Laughter is worth a look certainly imho.
