That Friends box set. Wow what a bargain. I have a similar looking one, had it years and absolutely loved watching it. I always mean to give it a re-watch as i do with so many things but never find the viewing hours.

I've also got The Protectors. Another bargain and a fine series of half hour action adventures.

I also received The Gestapo's Last Orgy from 88 Films on eBay yesterday, so thanks to Demdike for the heads up.

You got a real bargain with that Friends box set. I don't remember being overly keen on the TV show, despite finding some of it quite funny, and would definitely buy the complete collection if I found it anywhere near that price.

Can't take credit for that one i'm afraid. :thankingyou: anyway.

The credit (or the blame) for the Gestapo's Last Orgy purchase should go to MuckyFunster; I mixed up his highlight of that with your post about the Child's Play collection.

Three things annoy me about the things I bought:
1) Only the first four series of Inside No. 9 are available on Blu-ray disc
2) Unless you live in North America or are prepared to spend a lot of money (nearly £40), you won't be able to have a 4K Ultra HD release of Nightmare Alley
3) Ghost Stories, like Inside No. 9, was broadcast in high-definition but is only available for viewing on DVD

I know that some of you use shipping forwarding services from the USA such as Shipitto.com, but have any of you ever used similar services when ordering items from Germany?

I'm interested in a box set from Koch Media, although they've recently rebranded themselves as Plaion for some reason. Normally I would order from Amazon.de or some other German or Austrian online retailer, but the box set is exclusive to the Plaion website. If we were still in the EU then I would have been able to order directly from their website, but since they only deliver to EU countries I'm stuffed.

Nah instore's good for me. I can walk to HMV in around ten minutes. My local branch has the Friday the 13th collection for £27.99. If they've 25% that gets it down to around £21. Only the odd thing is it's £40 online.

I have that. The picture quality is excellent. I was wary before seeing it if it would be inferior seeing as the expensive Shout set was released recently but even though i love the films i'm more than happy to just own this. There's tonnes of extras as it is.

Believe it or not I've only ever seen the first two from this set.

There's a wild ride then. Enjoy!!

Thanks for the warning, tbh I wasn’t aware, I’ve prob used them 3 times tops and can’t complain, I thought the blu ray was part of black Fri deals hence why that price, I know not to use them now, thanks.
