it was indeed, i loved the film anyway and so glad to have seen it on BD, made so much difference!

Same here. It's such a great film, especially the last 20 minutes. The Shameless dvd is fab but if you're a huge fan of the film then the Blue Underground bluray is also a worthy purchase (I first saw it via Shameless but then upgraded to an HD copy as I like it that much)

some great choices there, though nightmare on elm street remake and sucker punch are pretty rubbish.
