Yesterday's new acquisitions:

Charity shop:

'Super 8' - £1:50
'7 Days' (French subtitled torture film. The trailer suggests it has the same feel as 'Martyrs') - £2:00
'Twinkle Twinkle Lucky Stars' (HKL) £2:00
'Slayer - The French Connection' (Live in France, 2003) - 2:00

Poundland
'Cabaret - Special Edition' - £1:00

The Entity pre-order at £8.88

Blimey that is a good price, The Entity is one of my must haves so maybe I'll take the plunge. I wanted to at least wait for a review first but that's a pretty good price to miss out on...... decisions

Axel don't carry it as it is a Twilight Time exclusive.

The image is from Amazon.com, so maybe from there?

It's downbeat throughout. It's hard to believe it was directed by the same person who made lighter fare like Companeros and White, Yellow and Black. Django is quite dour but Great Silence is definitely darker, IMO.

I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?yokja3

I have an older uk release of great silence. I remember getting to the end and found myself genuinely shocked at the ending.

Amazon.co.uk marketplace has it for £26.26 (inc. shipping & sold only by screen archives entertainment themselves) but buying it direct from SCREEN ARCHIVES ENTERTAINMENT comes to about £23 quid inc. shipping so I got it from there. Hope I don't get stung at customs :p

So last night I find there's a BD of Navajo Joe and NOW I find there's a BD of The Big Heat?

It's a damned conspiracy to bankrupt me!

Koch Media have done a really nice job with Navajo Joe by the way. Nicoletta Machiavelli looks rather nice in HD :p

I hope you don't get stung either!

I saw that copy on Amazon marketplace, but thought you may have found a cheaper source. ;)
