Was in town today with the intention of buying a replacement blu-ray player but ended buying an X-Box with DOOM 3 and HALF LIFE 2 instead.

I'll get one on Wednesday.

Does anyone know how long the free shipping from Planet axel will last? I'm getting my par check on wednesday so i'm hopping to pack a few more item's in there.

Until the end of the month, I think.

Where does everyone get their reasonably priced US Blues/DVD's from?

I'd use Planet Axel – I rarely use anywhere else. If not there, a seller on Amazon Marketplace will be more than competitive.

Planet Axel currently have free shipping as well, which ends on May 31, so you have 12 days to look around!

Ordered these two from Amazon.de the other day:

The Crow (Steelbook):

M (Mediabook):

I already own Eureka's release of M on BD, but as it is in my top 5 favourite films, and the German version has been stated as being the best version available, I couldn't resist a rare BD double dip on this one!

Nice buys BE, that German release of M takes pride of place in my collection, its a lovely package and contains the longest available version of M + the best restored :) Oh and that Crow steelbook looks very classy.

Be wary of customs if your buying from a US based seller on amazon marketplace. Pretty much all the Criterion blu rays are a shade cheaper on marketplace than on planetaxel but at least with planetaxel you won't get stung at customs!
