Yeah same here! David Lynch never really disappointed me

Doesn't seem to be in filmmaking mood – according to his most recent tweet, he's concerned about finding the right food for a mole in his garden!

Yeah ebay bargains! Just got Murnau's Faust for £6, and Aki Kaurismaki's Man Without a Past for £4. Check me and my cinephilia . . .

Recieved BFI's 100 Silent Films book this morning, so hopefully lots of cool titles to discover. Got the Criterion of The Phantom Carriage in my sights. Plus in the run up to La Havre coming out on dvd (missed it at the cinema), I'm trying to work my way through the whole of Kaurismaki's filmography. Man Without a Past and Matchstick Factory Girl are my current joint favourites . . .

Decided to finally get around to buying some more Ghibli on Blu, both Laputa and Whisper Of The Heart.

I am sorely tempted right now for those German BD's of Enter The Ninja and Revenge Of The Ninja though. My bank account is going to croak over the next few months, I know it.
