But haven't they fixed the latter?

They fixed the intro. They rest of the film is still a smeary mess! I've read reviews that mention the DNR but play it down but I found it seriously distracting.

ROTLD was as amazing as I've remembered in the past when I had a VHS in a red box (forget which company brought it out), Picture and sound both spot on, listened to the original mono, will try the 5.1 next time!

In on my own tonight so going to try and watch both Dune and 'More Brains' if I can fit it all in!

Ahh this was the one I had before I 'lost' all of my VHS tapes! It came in a lovely dark red box!!

SPAGHETTI WESTERN PSA!

Received this today:

http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l24/Gojirosan/DvS.jpg

The Thai release of Pasquale Squitieri's 1970 SW Django sfida Sartana/Django Defies Sartana...

...except...it isn't!

The film on the disk is actually Demofilo Fidani's Arrivano Django e Sartana... la fine/Django and Sartana Are Coming...It's The End!, also from 1970!

Also, the film has been sourced from a TV broadcast (a "7 Gold" logo appears in the corner onscreen) and it runs a mere 83 minutes (so probably cut). In short, it is from the same source as the version of the film in the Sartana boxset. It seems to look a little better though (?)

So, caveat emptor!

I'm gonna give Lynch another go.If this fails,I'm sure Mr BD Hoover will be standing by!

Might want to take it back, it's ****ed. FWWM is full of audio glitches that sound like a record being pulled back on a turntable (at least 4 of them) and Lost Highway either crashes your player or skips forward at least a minute, depending what it feels like, around the 1:26 mark (when Mr. Eddy comes to the garage). I'm gutted about this. Gutted.

Hmm, ok... to me? Awright man whatever. :D

I just should have said it was a picture of slipcase and sleeve of one DVD, not two separate DVDs.

damek 7th June 2012 04:03 PM

BTW is this Django vs Sartana? ..... Is that like some spaghetti western type of Alien vs Predator? LMFAO!
