It is. All the Action Cult Uncut dvd's I've bought have been swiftly turned around to the reverse artwork without the border and FSK logo.

I love that cover! If I were like you Stephen I'd be double-dipping purely for the cover but being a poverty-stricken student who prioritises in buying unseen films over double-dips it ain't going to happen. Such a shame as the MGM cover is really and I adore that poster

Just ordered this from deep discount... came to £17.80 even with the $6 shipping cost! Bargain! I wanted the Criterion version as its said to have the edge over the BFI in terms of PQ (slightly - according to dvdbeaver) and has a fantastic 90 min Wim Wenders documentary on modern Japan and how the film relates today.

Trouble is I'm also after another Criterion BD called STILL WALKING but can't find it anywhere under £15 so I have a problem! Don't know how to get hold on it without risking a customs charge. Anyone have any ideas?? They don't have it on blubastard.com (a customs-paid site) unfortunately.

There's always MovieTyme (not sure if customs free - although I've never been charged) or DVDWorldUSA (customs free).

You'll probably be looking at around £23-£25 inc. standard shipping though, unfortunately.

I also noticed that there are a few Criterion BDs on Amazon Marketplace below the £15 threshold (as of now: Monterey & Shake, Identification of a Woman, Summer Interlude, and Letter Never Sent).

On a four day holiday to blackpool and neigbouring towns.

Found these two in a barnardo's for £2.25 each!

Got quite a lot of stuff mainly to flog on, but these two will be staying in my collection.
