My Lost Weekend steelbook arrived today, unfortunately with a dent in the top corner and a bit of scuffing on the side thanks to their shoddy packaging

Buuuuut......after I got all my refunds from Planet Axel and I got my two months pay from the dive store as well as having been payed from PH today, I remembered to re-pre-order the Blue Underground Midnight Movies collections from DVDworldUSA.
Thta's a great haul - If you've not seen all of those before, you've got some big treats coming your way!

According to HMV, the Nouveaux Blu-ray of Suspiria has been deleted (and has risen in price to £19). It is also £19.99 on Amazon.

This may mean that another UK distributor has secured the rights...

Lifeboat looks cracking on blu-ray, well worth picking up.

Somebody's just bought CITIZEN KANE from me on amazon marketplace so figured I'd buy these to celebrate:

The bad news being that zavvi says RUMBLE IN THE BRONX usually ships within a week, which probably means within one to two months in their syntax Amazon have it in stock but are charging £18 for the damn thing. Not as bad as HMV @ £24 !! I know its just come out but those prices are steep as its probably a bare bones release. Mind you Miramax titles always seem pricey and strangely hard to get hold of when first released, THE ENGLISH PATIENT and THE QUIET AMERICAN being two examples. Oh and BD reviews of miramax releases seem to take an age to arrive! What gives?
