Why did they never do anything with really bad films? Air Force One or The Rock or Signs or the like? They chose "easy targets" and acted like bullies.
.
To be fair though, that's to do with rights issues for the tv show clearly. One of the guys on MST3K does a thing called Rifftrax which is basically a similar commentary to be played over, far more popular films. I'm sure The Rock or Signs must have had one

Talking about cheap low budget films - my 100 Sci Fi collection from Mill Creek came today (im going in for an operation tomorrow so you may not see me for a few days etc). With MST3000 can you buy the sets that have the option to watch it as both with the remarks and without

So i have plenty to watch

I was a bit disappointed that this version of The Kentucky Fried Movie was just the same old "not great" master used for the old Arrow and Prism releases. Luckily I got it in the £5 sale. If I had paid full price for it I would have been pissed off, now matter how pretty the wrapping and despite the second DVD of extras (that I will probably never watch).

Also, the French BD of China Girl is 16:9 only. Now I don't know whether or not to keep my unmatted 4:3 DVD of it as well. Ferrara did tend to compose for 4:3...(apply this issue to the Arrow KONY Blu as well). Bah.

I take a little time here to recommend Germany's Turbine BD releases of Hexen bis aufs Blut gequält (Mark of the Devil),The Last House on the Left & The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, for these are of incredible quality, easily the best releases I've seen of any of them, and I've seen a few.Beautiful packaging,DTS-HD MA 5.1 audios,bonus-DVD's,just bloody perfect transfers...These are limited to 5,000 a piece,so I hold on to mine, but if anyone want's to take a look, head over to dtm.at
