Just bought/pre-ordered this new release (comes out on Tuesday in the US) from Kino. Sounds excellent, always like to see noir films, can't wait for it to arrive. Ordered it from deepdiscount, they have pretty rapid shipping times from past experience.

I really want Father's Day which is out in the US at the end of the month. Cheapest I can find it for though is about £18/£19 delivered. I'm too poor to spend that much on one film. :(

I have the R1 DVD and it's a really good film, but one I haven't seen in a couple of years. It's an unusual British noir, but an extremely good one and I hope they have remastered it completely as, if memory serves, the picture and sound aren't particularly good on the DVD.

I can't watch horror all the time. ;)

It sounded ok, and it is a Ridley Scott film.

Its probably more a prequel to Alien than Prometheus was.

Oh yeah, because Mr. Scott has NEVER directed a bad movie.
