I'm surprised they don't borrow code reds idea and print a ltd number. If they sell out do a re-print with a slightly altered cover or '2nd printing' slapped across it. That way the collectors are happy, the customers are happy and speculators have a harder time making money.

Well, what really pisses me off about this is that Sony and the BDA fought hard to kill HD DVD so that we'd all uptake Blu-ray over that format. Sony basically were the brains behind Blu-ray - now they don't even want to release films on the format? They killed the one format that probably would've delivered more catalogue product at an affordable price, then seek to also hinder the format they're supposedly backing? :loco:

That's a very good point, I hadn't thought of it like that. It's a really weird situation.

Finally managed to snag a 'Like New' copy of this on Blu from a UK seller for a decent price. My second favourite fantasy film. :)
