A very good film.

In Your Favourite Films of the Years lists i voted it the best from 1987. http://www.cult-labs.com/forums/143482-post3.html
Yes, but it's been years so it will be nice to revisit it. I do remember liking it quite a bit though.

Can't beat th original Salem's Lot! Bought it for my mum a few years back as its one of her favourites. She made me watch it after her. It scared the shit out of me as much as it did her, I think

Yeah, for me Salem's Lot is one of the few films that creeps me out, which of course is a good thing!

Yep, Salem's Lot is an essential addition to any collection, I hope Warners give this a Blu so I can ditch my snapper. I know Stephen King had problems with Barlow's Nosferatu but I think he looks incredible...

Aside from a moment of some hokey CG, I thought Storm of the Century was very good as well, far better than the usual King TV adaptations. Worth tracking down for one of those long winter nights...

I usualy don't give a shit what King think's, the addaptations of his work are better than his work themselfs.

I had a bunch of stuff from the states ordered ages ago only just turned up. I'm thinking there may have been delays somewhere along the line, perhaps the weather?

Storm Of The Century is another really good King miniseries. Colm Feore is suitably creepy as André Linoge.
