Wait until the new version comes out - it'll make the 80s version look like a work of indescribable genius.

The remake looks decent. The original isn't really that great tbh.

The remake had China invading and occupying the U.S. When the chinese authorities heard about this they told the studio none in china would be seeing the film! The studio pulled the film and have digitally altered the entire product to make it north korea that invades, ridiculous when you consider what a run-down **** hole NK is these days.

Funnily the whole incident makes a mockery of the films central conceit. China doesn't/would'nt ever need to invade with military power, it can quite easily dominate america financially.

Watched IRON ROSE, another classic from jean rollin, not a vamp in sight in this one, a very nightmarish tale of a young couple lost in a cemetary late at night wandering the old family tombs as they slowly go a bit bonkers! Looks great on blu-ray (as has every Rollin disc so far) and well worth picking up.

After that I watched everything aside from the spanish version of DRACULA on Blu-ray. I'll do the spanish version tommorrow as its getting a wee bit late. Supurb presentation on blu-ray, if the others live up to this quality they'll look a treat! Shan't be getting rid of my monster legacy collection though!!

IRON ROSE is my favourite Rollin film, it's so well contained in it's own little world of weird.

Picked up Troll Hunter on blu for £4.80 today. Quite like these small cheap pick ups, helps that i get first dibs on Trades in work though.

OMG! That must meat Tom Green us in the remake!!! Some one save us!!!

Americans seem to see it one of the best films ever made. I find it absurd. But that's just my opinion.

If it's not a rude question, how many did you take in? i.e how much do HMV give for CD's?

Also, do you know how much they give for DVD's?

Thanks in advance

Have you seen John milius? He's on the special features of apocalypse now on blu-ray. The man is Walter Sobchak (John Goodmans character from Big lebowski) incarnate, so much so I'm sure the coens must have met him at one point.
