For the record, I actually like RED DAWN, I just have the ability to switch off the childish right-wing politics and enjoy it for the fun film it is.

Thank you for that, Mr. Fury

Very interesting information

Presumably places like CEX do not have a 'standard' amount that they give for things taken in - some things they will give £1:00 for, other things they will give 10p for!

CEX give you different amounts for different things, and more if you're going to use the money to spend in store rather than spend elsewhere or put in your piggy bank!

You can always check the CEX website for their prices at least.
I was offered cash in HMV, but never asked how much per CD I'd get as I was interested in store credit.

Holy shit, I have the Apocalypse Now Full Disclosure Set, and I've seen Big Lebowski.

Now whenever I see either, I going to think of the other

Reading charity shops:

'Meatloaf - 3 Bats Live' - 2 disc - £2:99
'The Baker Street Dozen: Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes' - 6 disc set, containing 'The Voice of Terror', 'The Secret Weapon', 'In Washington', 'Faces Death', 'Spider Woman', Scarlet Claw', 'The Pearl of Death', 'The Woman in Green', 'Pursuit to Algiers', 'The House of Fear', 'Dressed to Kill' and 'Terror by Night' - £5:00

No 'Hound of the Baskervilles' sadly, but with that line-up, you really can't complain can you! I have always said that whoever it was who was responsible for pairing up Rathbone and Nigel Bruce was a real genius!
