I'd say it's definately still worth upgrading from the dvd. It's not s bad blu-ray transfer, it just could've been better.

Cool. The blu-ray.com review also highlighted its problems but said it's still a good release overall. I really like the Scream Factory releases I've got to date and am happy to upgrade to HD versions of films they put out so I'll hopefully pick this up shortly.

Where did you order it from? Most places allow you to return damaged items within 28 days of purchase, so you should be able to return it for a replacement.

The Hitchcock Masterpiece Collection Came in a really sturdy box, wrapped in brown paper and secured with those big plastic air pockets, so the scratches must have happened before it was packaged, the one on the inside during assembly!

I couldn't be bothered with the hassle of sending it back. I think it was HMV I ordered it from. I can live with it now.....just!

Got e-mail from dtm.at telling me that my TCM2 bluray got sent back to them and that they were going to re-send it to me. First time that has ever happened to me. Hope I get it this time.

A couple of updates to my collection. No more purchasing for the foreseeable future as I have truly spent up for this month and am currently signed off work for who knows how long. I'm a bit worried that on top of the months off earlier this year I will be down to reduced pay very soon. So no more treats! Anything that comes in the next week was ordered earlier.
