I'd love to hear impressions when you get around to seeing these. Very interested in the Deadly Fiends set.

Yeah the third set I couldn't get on amazon.co.uk, but I'll definitely be adding it to my collection at some point . . .

I've been looking forward to Southern Comfort (which comes in a lovely slipbox) Gate Of Hell and Floating Weeds so much! After watching The Idiot recently, and becoming enraptured by Setsuko Hara's eyes, I felt it was time to upgrade Tokyo Story. Never seen American Nightmare, but I enjoy most of Scorpion's Katarina's Nightmare Theatre line. I wish THWLW was on Blu-ray, such a great film.

OOOOO, what's the Southern Comfort BD like? And is the slipbox just one of the thin cardboard slipcases, or an actual Arrow style (without window) box?

I'd say thinner than Arrow's but slightly thicker than a slipcase. I'll not get a chance to watch it until either tonight or tomorrow though.

Does it open from the side or the top? So far so good it sounds.

Prometheus - The film is decent, the Blu-ray went screwy twice in my machine. I'm hoping updating the player will alleviate the problem.

Yeah its not a disc issue. I love Prometheus best release of the year, the PQ and extras are mind blowing! 3D is awesome too.
I had no issues on my PS3 or PC playing it.

I've also played it in my PS3 and PC without problems. I haven't yet watched all the extra features - I've listened to both commentaries and nearly half of The Furious Gods: Making Prometheus documentary.

IMO Charles de Lauzirika is one of the best blu ray/dvd producers in the biz.
His work on Alien Quadrilogy, Anthology, Prometheus and Blade Runner is amazing. Im hoping he does the Prometheus sequels too!

I picked up The Uninvited recently, and liked it very much. Solid package and a superb film, imo. Hope you enjoy it.
