Must be that realistic sex scene with Sharon Stone eh?:pound:

Nope! Because it has James Woods in it. Rather watch him than Antonio Bendyarse.

Arrived today... ;)

I picked this up mainly for the new Dracula restoration...but of course there's lots of other great films in this set... :)

Will probably watch them all again (and the new extras as well).

Yeah,ASSASSINS is mucho entertaining Paul.
Much better than The Specialist!

I like SPECIALIST but ASSASSINS is better. James Woods is great, as is the John Barry score but I prefer the overall tone of ASSASSINS and Donner is far more accomplished a filmmaker than the guy who made THE SPECIALIST.

A torturous wait until Xmas day for me before I can lay clammy hands on this beauty, also in my stocking should be the Tetsuo double,Criterions Rosemary's Baby, The Game and Shock Corridor and (hopefully if the hints have been dropped heavily enough), Brazil. No dinner table conversation from me, I shall be proceeding directly to the tele!

Just picked up Volumes 1 and 2 of Network's British-made Edgar Wallace Mysteries - each 3-disc set contains 7 hour long Wallace films (produced in the early '60's) and can be picked up from the Network site (linked below) for £8 each - this is a nice and cheap introduction to Network's series (7 volumes to collect, 47 films in all) and I'm already looking forward to watching these over the long winter evenings...

Network's Edgar Wallace series
Excellent review of the DVD

I saw the latest Rambo movie on TV recently and it was one of the most embarrassing turns by a major Hollywood stars in years... and First Blood is one of my favourite films of the 80's...

Paul@TheOverlook 3rd December 2012 08:31 PM

I loved the last RAMBO film, Wes. I think it's great :D
