Buy a copy of Evolution from Zoverstocks for 1p plus postage. That also has a yellow case. As does Observe and Report. :)

Im almost sure six months ago i got these but cant fin them anywhere so i picked them up again today 3 for €5 so can complain about loosing them or what ever happened. I bet ill find them tonight now just because i had to re buy.

I got Escape from L.A on Blu Ray recently, as much as it was slated ( it was never going to be in the same cult ball park as Escape from New York, bit similar to Prometheus expectations and Alien ) I really enjoy this film. I watched it again last night actually with my 7 year old lad, who loves EFNY and he loved it. I am a massive John Carpenter fan and dont expect another EFNY or Halloween so take his films as they come. Its more of a homage to the first than a follow up, loads of quips, lines and similar scenarios to EFNY. Though the surfing scene does push it!:pound: Wish he would do another, perhaps a different country......Escape from U.K?

Went to HMV this evening with the intention of getting Amsterdamned and The House With Laughing Windows. They didn't have either of them. Same goes for the Hammer BD's, not a single one. They're honestly a joke, a lot of stuff not instock, or greatly over-priced. Ended up just coming away with a few dvds....

And If I had know I could get Invisible Target on BD for and extra £1, I wouldn't have bothered with the dvd.

Im in the same boat as you i take all Carpenters films on their own merits and so i enjoy all his films. Im just about to take a pizza out of the oven now and pop in Escape from New York so a fun night ahead.

I had an early Christmas today and opened up my Christmas presents from Kelly and her family, I got:

Lawrence of Arabia

The Rescuers
Brave 3D
Pixar Shorts Vol.2
Silhouettes from Popular Culture by Olly Moss hardback book (brilliant)
The Walking Dead Compendium 2

Not a bad start considering its not even Christmas Day yet.
