My fave film of all time and IMO best horror film of all time. Endlessly rewatchable and layered, if you can endure it repeatedly that is! Great features too, especially The Shocking Truth doc.

I just got the R1 Deranged / Motel Hell DVD, finally watched Deranged last night, great wee film and a totally different spin on the Ed Gein legend. Quite funny, with an amazing performance from Roberts Blossom (scary old guy from Home Alone!) plus a nice appearance from the actress who plays Mrs Mac in Black Christmas. Looking forward to seeing Motel Hell too. Both of these could do with a good UK release, preferably uncut - not much gore in either but Deranged's US release is missing a brain-scooping scene apparently.
