I bought five BDs in the 5 for £30 selection at HMV: The Frighteners, Chariots of Fire, Mars Attacks!, The King's Speech and Road to Perdition. They work out cheaper than anywhere online and there are two Best Picture Oscar winners which I don't own, so that's an added bonus.

At least four excellent films there mate. Not seen Chariots so can't comment.

Chariots of Fire is a classic film which I last saw at the cinema when it was rereleased because of the Olympics. There's much more to it than that scene on the beach and Vangelis' score!

Not a masterpiece though!

The word 'masterpiece' is thrown around far too liberally and, though this is an extremely good film, it isn't an all-time great nor a masterpiece. Makes for great viewing though!

Where do you guys pick up your German BDs? From Amazon.de? Is it much hassle?

I remember my dad talking about a footy trip with mates, and they went to movies, and the were planning on seeing Terminator, but one of the friends convinced them to see this, as it would be inspiring, and they all hated it.

Yeah amazon.de for me... No hassle, just sign in with your .co.uk account and the delivery times are ridiculously fast, as in around 2 days for an in stock item. The only downside is that £ keeps getting weaker against the € but their p&p costs are reasonable. Those blurays above cost approx £13.35 each.
