I'd take communism/socialism over fascism. There you go, an 'ism' on the opposite side of the fence.

Personally, I think capitalism is failing big style. The time is coming when the entire planet is going to have to rethink and reinvent everything. The current system is unsustainable, as evidenced by the global financial meltdown, the banks crashing, the retail sector dying, countries going bankrupt. The whole shithouse is a mess and it's not going to get better IMO. History tells us that every empire, every system, eventually comes to an end and is replaced with something new. I believe we're on the cusp of that right now. The empire of greedy capitalism that favours the rich and punishes the poor is coming to an end.

Rant over - normal service can resume.
