I love it too! My liking is probably nostalgia-biased but it's great gun, IMO.

Still want a decent print of the sequel.

Watched Southern Comfort on bluray last night.
I'm not a huge fan of the movie, but I'm not saying
it's bad either and it looks great in HD. Will check out
the Walter Hill interview at a later date. Going on what
I saw, I'd recommend the movie and the disc from
Second Sight.

It's like Re Animator,Return of the Living Dead and An American Werewolf in London...a rare film that delivers laughs and frights in equal doses.
Not an easy feat.

I'm not saying I aren't a fan of it, but there's plenty of other Horrors from that era that I think are better, Re-animator being one of them and there's certainly better vampire films from the 80's and by that I mean the Lost Boys
