I've mentioned these five elsewhere: Peter Pan, The Borrowers, Brave and Cars 2 in the Disney BOGOF sale and Looper, plus I ordered and preordered some Arrow Video titles: Who Dares Wins, Foxy Brown (Steelbook) and Blow Out (Steelbook).

Still want a decent print of the sequel.
There is a magnificent print of Fright Night II out there. 720p and 2.35:1.

I've got it and it's a joy to behold. C'mon Sony, we know it exists. Give us the Blu. Don't try to fob us off with the crap you put out on DVD.

PM is very helpful isn't it ;-)

People on Blu-ray.com are convinced that Sony is done with putting out what it sees as niche (read: genre) titles and seem hellbent on licensing them out to all and sundry. Twilight Time being one of them.

I think they are trying to find new business models for physical media, downloading is killing sales and digital distribution is looking to be the future. Not that many jobs in it (shame for me) but its the march of progress.

Personally, I think capitalism is failing big style. The time is coming when the entire planet is going to have to rethink and reinvent everything. The current system is unsustainable, as evidenced by the global financial meltdown, the banks crashing, the retail sector dying, countries going bankrupt. The whole shithouse is a mess and it's not going to get better IMO. History tells us that every empire, every system, eventually comes to an end and is replaced with something new. I believe we're on the cusp of that right now. The empire of greedy capitalism that favours the rich and punishes the poor is coming to an end.

Rant over - normal service can resume.
I wouldn't say its capitalism failing per se, its just the current model of capitalism, free-market unregulated capitalism based on ADAM SMITH'S wealth of nations thats failing. Unfortunately most of the major governments seem sold on the idea (mainly because of campaign contributions) For instance if a monopoly commission actually looked at amazon or any of the big supermarkets they would have stopped their growth at a certain point in order to stop them doing what their doing now. Bullying smaller business models out of the market and running everything. They have superior business models that has allowed them to grow but when it gets to the point that they become complacent (ie the horsemeat scandal, amazons sharp spike in prices) its in the public interest that new competiton springs up.
The real irony is that Smiths wealth of nations was discredited, the model he used for extolling the virtues of free market capitalism collapsed and smith even later dismissed much of his own work. Trouble is the book legitmises greed and people tend to dislike being told what to do so libertarianism seems to be the new trend.
Unfortunately communism dosent work. I could lecture on the reasons why, but all i'd say is pick up a copy of orwells animal farm which illustrates the reasons why much of russia was a decrepit mess when the iron curtain fell.
